B. First Time Opening of Picasa
First time opening Picasa, you are asked whether to scan your whole hard drive (the default) or only Pictures, Documents and Desktop.

C. Using Picasa
Double click Picasa icon. Picasa opens to library showing folder list at left, photos in folders on right, menus at top and special features at bottom. For details on what's next in the Library or using Editing and Sharing, click desired tab above or link below.
